Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and driven Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in both mechanical design and manufacturing. The ideal candidate is innovative, detail-oriented, and capable of turning complex problems into practical solutions. They will utilize their strong leadership and management skills to lead a team through the entire product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for new and existing ammunition presses

- Carry products from prototype phase to production

- Apply engineering principles and analytical techniques to continuously improve manufacturing processes

- Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs, ensuring compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements

- Provide and receive constructive criticism in design reviews

- Maintain records of drawings, reports, etc

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

- 7 years of mechanical design experience

- Leadership and management experience

- The ability to work independently and as a part of a team

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with engineering simulation tools

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material selection, and engineering principles

- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
